Our aim is to partner with churches in mobilising Australians into the worldwide harvest through Campus Crusade for Christ.

Overview

CCCA has moblised Australians to serve with Campus Crusade for Christ International over the last 20 years. In the past, people have served in New Zealand, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu, Middle East and Phillipines. We currently have 11 people serving long-term in Thailand, West Asia and East Asia. CCC International has more than 25,000 people serving in 190 countries.

CCCA-IM operates on the belief that the major way that people today will consider career mission service is through exposure to short term mission opportunities. For this reason a major focus is on 'MACEDONIAN Projects', (ref Acts 16:9) which are short term missions to places where people have had little or no opportunity to hear the gospel. In this way we can both take the gospel to those that have not heard and expose Australians to the need for workers in the worldwide harvest.

Take a break for a year!

Blossom*, an accountant with a public company, decided to spend the summer holidays in East Asia. She joined the East Asia Summer Picnic (6 weeks) and spent that time making friends, improving her language skills, sharing her faith with her new friends. She was amazed how God used her to lead many to faith and decided to commit one year to serve in that country. Getting approval from her company to give her one year's leave of absence was a challenge but thankfully approval was given. Having to raise support for one year was probably the biggest challenge but God moved many hearts and hands and she raised her one year's support in the space of three weeks! How good it is to know the favour of God!

Blossom has since returned to Australia. Words cannot fully describe her time spent in that country. During her time there, she was able to share the gospel with many students, see many come to faith and following that she discipled the new believers. They were given first hand experience in sharing their faith with other students, and seeing others come to faith. She was also a great encouragement to the other long term workers.

Blossom is now married to John** whom she met in East Asia and they are now enjoying a new addition to the family, baby James**. John has finished his studies at Bible College and they are now preparing to return to serve in East Asia.
