From the National Director
After thirty years with CCCA some of my best memories are the times when we have gathered for our national conferences. They are times of refreshing, inspiration, sharing together in laughter, tears, prayer and strengthening our sense of ‘family'. This Connexion will be another highlight and we will each look back and say, "Wasn't it a powerful and refreshing time as we met together with God!"
Over the last four conferences we have covered "Being a People of God", "Being a Movement of God", "Everyone (Youth, Young adults and Young Families)" and "Someone: truly following Jesus". This year our theme is "Truly Following - Truly Connecting" with the subtitle of "connecting lost people to Jesus."
Take time to prepare your heart for a time of connecting with God, with each other, and with Jesus' heart for lost people...for the people he has sent you to. Let's cover this week in prayer and uphold the speakers, the conference team, the child care team, the children and each other as we invest in this special week together.
Connexion is the most significant gathering we have as a national movement every two years. Come with anticipation and a heart to serve others. Faye and I are looking forward to sharing the week with you.
