Short Film School

Stories are a powerful tool for communicating complex ideas in an engaging way. Short films are a perfect platform for telling stories and new technologies have made film distribution very easy. With a large percentage of the Australian population now carrying smart phones which can download and play video content, people who follow Jesus have the oppotunity to tell their story visually with a broad audience.

In partnership with the Global Short Film Network, Campus Crusade for Christ Australia is hosting a Short Film School during December 2011 in Melbourne. This event will bring professional film teachers and students together to explore how to write stories for the screen, make short films, and learn how use them in mission.

Mel from Queensland reflected on her Film School experience by saying, "I had such a great time with so many awesome people! So sad having to say goodbye! I learnt so much about film making and looking forward to being able to putting I into action! Really got me inspired again!"
