Short Film School

The goal of a Global Short Film Network (GSFN) Film School is to help young Christian film makers create great films that are rooted in stories that springboard into spiritual conversations. To accomplish this goal, GSFN endeavors to teach filmmakers professional story structure,  technical training in making films that engage their culture, and help them set the stage for spiritual conversations. In the process we aim to give students the opportunity to experience making a film and help them understand the process as a whole.

Permeating all GSFN teaches is their philosophy of using short films in ministry. The Global Short Film Network slogan is "stories worth talking about."  The end result is a story that engages people at a deep heart level. The sharing of the message comes not from the medium of the film, but from the messenger showing the film. The door is opened for Christ to enter into the conversation and the messenger can share the Gospel in a way appropriate to the situation.
