Senior Financial Leader

Some of our Australian ministries include, Student Life, FamilyLife Australia, Youth Ministries Australia, Athletes in Action, Jesus Gift to the Nation, Creative Arts Ministries (CRAM) and Global Aid Network (GAIN).

We are looking for a Senior Financial Leader to join our National Headquarters team at Mulgrave (SE suburbs of Melbourne). The successful applicant will be responsible for providing leadership to the Finance Team as well as be a strategic member of the HQ Leadership Team. The position is preferable full-time although part-time would be considered for a suitable person.

We seek a person who wishes to utilize their finance and people skills to further the kingdom of God. Specific skills will include the ability to manage and maximize the financial processes of the ministry including taxation/GST law as it affects CCCA as an income tax exempt organisation (ITEO); deductible gift recipient (DGR); and experience with Solomon software would be an asset in preparation of statements. This person will also be responsible for reporting the financial status of the ministry to the Board of Directors and providing strategic financial reports to leadership. It is essential for this person to develop and maintain good relations with Ministry Leadership and Missionaries.

This position will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. A commitment to work within a framework of Christian values and a commitment to support our Statement of Faith is essential.

As a not for profit charity, it is essential that this position be viewed as a ministry opportunity. This is a mission support position and the successful applicant will either raise support as do all missionaries in CCCA or will work as a self-supported volunteer.
