Senior Financial Leader

Campus Crusade for Christ is a non-denominational mission committed to helping take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations. We partner with millions of Christians from churches and Para-church organisations around the world to help Christians grow in their faith and share the Gospel message with their fellow countrymen.

Some of our Australian ministries include, Student Life, FamilyLife Australia, Youth Ministries Australia, Athletes in Action, Jesus Gift to the Nation, Creative Arts Ministries (CRAM) and Global Aid Network (GAIN).

We are looking for a Senior Financial Leader to join our National Headquarters team at Mulgrave (SE suburbs of Melbourne). The successful applicant will be responsible for providing leadership to the Finance Team as well as be a strategic member of the HQ Leadership Team. The position is preferable full-time although part-time would be considered for a suitable person.

We seek a person who wishes to utilize their finance and people skills to further the kingdom of God. Specific skills will include the ability to manage and maximize the financial processes of the ministry including taxation/GST law as it affects CCCA as an income tax exempt organisation (ITEO); deductible gift recipient (DGR); and experience with Solomon software would be an asset in preparation of statements. This person will also be responsible for reporting the financial status of the ministry to the Board of Directors and providing strategic financial reports to leadership. It is essential for this person to develop and maintain good relations with Ministry Leadership and Missionaries.

This position will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. A commitment to work within a framework of Christian values and a commitment to support our Statement of Faith is essential.

As a not for profit charity, it is essential that this position be viewed as a ministry opportunity. This is a mission support position and the successful applicant will either raise support as do all missionaries in CCCA or will work as a self-supported volunteer.

CCCA International Mission Mobiliser

CCCA is seeking a person to extend the reach its mission mobilization within the Christian community intentionally engaging with people under 35 years. The vision involves mobilizing people into short term or long term mission over seas. This position will require you to:

  • Actively and boldly follow Jesus seeking to live out His character and priorities.
  • Mobilise individuals and teams for global mission through churches, Bible Colleges and university Christian groups
  • Initiate connection with enquirers, track and mentor applicants through the recruitment process to the field.

Criteria:

  • Enthusiasm for global mission
  • Strong commitment to CCCA’s  mission, vision, values, philiosophy and Strategic Plan

  • Track record of effective ministry to people under 35; proven capacity to gather and lead.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and effective use of digital technology (web, power point, social media)
  • Proven ability to be creative and strategic
  • Self motivation and initiative.

This position is national in scope but preferably Melbourne based.  Flexibility with working days at the office. Bible College training and overseas service are highly desirable but not prerequisites. Being experienced in and comfortable with International travel is essential.  This is a CCCA missionary position. Mission Mobiliser is answerable to CCCA International Ministry Leader. Works closely with CCC national point people in partnership countries mainly within the 10/40 Window.
