Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) was founded by Bill & Vonette Bright at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1951. Their vision was to help fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) given by Jesus Christ which calls the church to make disciples of all nations. This movement is currently made up of over 18,000 full-time workers and 200,000 trained volunteers with an active presence in 190 countries around the world. The global headquarters of CCC is located in Orlando, Florida. Bill Bright died in 2003 from complications related to pulmonary fibrosis. Campus Crusade for Christ Australia (CCCA) started in 1967 with Student Life (the university ministry) commencing in 1974. Bill Hodgson is the current National Director. CCCA now has around 200 missionaries working in the following arenas:
